Meet Pip’s Granny

Pip’s Granny lives high in the oak trees, where the kettle whistles and her knitting needles rarely stop clicking. Her little tree-top home is warm in every season, filled with the comforting scent of cinnamon biscuits and freshly brewed tea.

She may live far beyond the winding woodland paths, but her presence is always close — steady, encouraging, and full of just the right words at just the right time.

Granny believes that letters matter. She keeps them carefully folded in a wooden box by the window, reading them more than once, smiling at every line. When Pip’s very first letter arrived, it was treasured immediately — not because it was perfect, but because it was brave.

Though she cannot visit every day, Granny teaches Pip something important: distance does not weaken love. Sometimes it strengthens it. A thoughtful word, written with care, can travel further than footsteps ever could.

It was a letter to Pip’s Granny that began the very first story in the forest. And while she may be perched high among the branches, her love — and her cinnamon biscuits — reach far beyond the treetops.
